Semi Permanent Eyeliner

Semi-Permanent Eyeliner

Wake up with beautifully defined eyes every day with semi-permanent eyeliner, designed to enhance your natural eye shape and create a polished, long-lasting result.

Whether you prefer a subtle lash enhancement or a more noticeable eyeliner effect, your treatment will be carefully tailored to suit your features, style and comfort level.

What Is Semi-Permanent Eyeliner?

Semi-permanent eyeliner involves gently implanting pigment along the lash line to create the appearance of fuller lashes and more defined eyes.

It can be used to achieve:

  • A soft, natural lash-line enhancement

  • A fine and elegant eyeliner

  • A more defined everyday look

  • Subtle correction of uneven eye shape

  • A low-maintenance alternative to applying eyeliner daily

The final shape, thickness and colour will be discussed and agreed before treatment begins.

Who Is It Suitable For?

Semi-permanent eyeliner may be ideal for anyone who:

  • Finds applying eyeliner difficult or time-consuming

  • Has sparse or fair eyelashes

  • Wants more definition without heavy makeup

  • Has watery or sensitive eyes

  • Wears glasses or contact lenses

  • Has difficulty seeing well enough to apply eye makeup

  • Wants eyeliner that will not smudge or run

A consultation will be carried out to make sure the treatment is suitable for you.

What Happens During the Appointment?

Before treatment, we will discuss the look you would like to achieve and carefully map the eyeliner shape.

A topical numbing product is used to help keep you as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.

Pigment is then gently applied along the lash line using precise specialist techniques.

The treatment usually takes approximately [insert treatment time], although appointment times may vary depending on the chosen style.

Will It Look Very Dark at First?

Immediately after treatment, the eyeliner will appear darker and more intense than the final healed result.

The eye area may also look slightly swollen or feel tender. This is normal and should gradually settle.

As the area heals, the colour will soften and become more natural.

The final healed result can usually be assessed after approximately four to six weeks.

How Long Does Semi-Permanent Eyeliner Last?

Results vary from person to person, but semi-permanent eyeliner can typically last between one and three years before a colour boost is required.

Longevity may be affected by:

  • Skin type

  • Age

  • Lifestyle

  • Sun exposure

  • Skincare products

  • Medication

  • Healing response

  • Aftercare

A maintenance appointment may be recommended when the colour begins to fade.

Perfecting Appointment

A perfecting appointment may be required after the initial treatment.

This allows us to assess how the pigment has healed and make any small adjustments needed to the colour, shape or coverage.

The perfecting appointment should be completed within the timeframe advised by your practitioner.

Before Your Appointment

Please attend without eye makeup where possible.

Before treatment, you may be advised to:

  • Remove eyelash extensions

  • Avoid lash tinting or lash lifting

  • Remove contact lenses

  • Avoid alcohol before your appointment

  • Avoid blood-thinning medication or supplements unless prescribed

  • Inform us of any eye conditions, allergies or medication

  • Avoid treatment if you have an active eye infection or irritation

Never stop prescribed medication without speaking to your doctor.

Aftercare

You will receive full aftercare instructions following your treatment.

During healing, you should avoid:

  • Rubbing or picking the treated area

  • Eye makeup until advised

  • Swimming, steam rooms and saunas

  • Excessive sweating

  • Direct sun exposure

  • Applying unapproved products to the area

  • Lash treatments until the area has fully healed

Following the aftercare instructions carefully will help support good healing and pigment retention.

Is Semi-Permanent Eyeliner Safe?

When carried out by a trained professional using appropriate hygiene and safety procedures, semi-permanent eyeliner is generally a safe treatment.

However, all cosmetic procedures carry some risk. Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness or minor bruising may occur.

A full consultation and consent process will take place before treatment.

Treatment cannot be carried out if you have an active eye infection, significant irritation or another condition that makes the procedure unsuitable.
